What’s the course about?
Module 1 is designed for adult LGBT+ absolute beginners with no, or very little, previous experience of Spanish. The course guides you through everything from the basics to everyday conversation, all while making new friends in a friendly space where you can be you.
In this course, you’ll:
- Build confidence speaking Spanish from day one
- Learn how to introduce yourself and talk about your life
- Order food, book travel, and navigate real-life situations
- Explore language through inclusive approaches
- Connect with a like-minded group of learners in a relaxed atmosphere

Module Info
- Start date: 1st July, 2025
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Schedule: 3 hours per week (2 x 90 minute classes)
- Location: City Centre venue. Will be confirmed by email.
- Level: Absolute beginners (A1 level – no Spanish needed!)
- Group size: Very small groups: max 6 people per group
Group 1: Mixed LGBT+ Group: Tues / Thurs 18.00-19.30
Group 2: Gay Men’s Group: Tues/Thurs 19.30-21.00
